Tea Cake
Time for Morning/Afternoon Tea? Well, make this scrumptious cake and brew up a pot! ;o)

Ingredients

1 cup sugar
1/2 cup Milk
2 Eggs
2 tbsp Butter/Marg
Vanilla essence (1 tsp)
2 tbsp Custard Powder (if you have Vanilla flavoured powder skip the essence)
1 1/3 cup Self-Raising Flour

Method

Preheat Oven to Moderate Heat.
Grease and line a round 20 cm or 9" cake tin
Combine all ingredients.
Bake in oven for 25-30  min
While hot brush with butter and sprinkle with a combination of 1-2 tbsp sugar and 1/2-1 tsp of cinnamon
Serve warm with lashings of butter and a cup of tea or coffee!
